Who you are dealing with
Before you hand anyone your infrastructure, you should know exactly who you are dealing with and on what terms. This page answers that in plain words and links the two documents that govern.
Who you are dealing with
Nexidy is a sole proprietorship: Hamed Kabir, trading as Nexidy, in California, United States. He is personally answerable for the work. That is the same status used on every agreement signed to date.
Everything goes through contact@nexidy.ai, the address a reply comes from. There is no sales team and no call centre.
If your procurement needs to contract with an incorporated entity rather than a sole proprietor, say so early. It is a normal requirement and it is better raised in the first message than after scoping.
If you need a signed agreement, an NDA or a supplier form completed before work starts, ask and it gets done in writing. We do not ask you to sign anything to have a conversation.
Who you contract with
Work billed by Nexidy. A Database Stabilization Sprint, or any defined piece of work, is agreed with Nexidy: the scope and the price are agreed in writing before anything starts. Ongoing support after a sprint is agreed in writing the same way, including whom you pay.
An engineer from outside Nexidy joins only when a job needs one, and the written scope then says whom you contract with and pay.
Which applies is stated in writing before money or access is discussed. If that is ever unclear in an email from us, treat it as our error and ask.
Access, credentials and confidentiality
- Access is requested at the narrowest scope that does the job, and only when the work needs it.
- Credentials are never asked for by email or chat, and never stored outside the systems you grant them in.
- A mutual NDA before any access is normal and expected. Send yours, or ask for one.
- Your client relationships are yours. On white-label work we do not contact your clients, and we are not named to them unless you name us.
Your work and your data
Configuration, scripts, runbooks, diagrams and documentation produced for you are yours, and are handed over rather than held. Section 5 of the Terms of Service sets that out formally, and section 4 covers how work is scoped, signed off and billed.
What we collect about you, why, how long it is kept and how to have it removed is in the Privacy Policy. The short version: what you send us, in order to answer it, and nothing sold to anyone.
Warranties, liability and insurance
The warranty position and the limits of liability are in sections 6 and 7 of the Terms of Service, and they apply to everything on this site. Read them before you commit; they are short.
Insurance requirements differ by client and by engagement. If your procurement needs a certificate or a specific coverage before a supplier can start, say so in your first message and you will get a straight yes or no about whether we can meet it, before anyone spends time on scoping.
The documents that govern
The Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. Where this page and those documents differ, those documents win; this page exists to make them findable and to answer the questions people ask first.
A question about terms, access or paperwork gets a written reply. We do not book calls.
